Wake Up Colors – The ReyBird Express #11

Pathway Learning: “Wake Up Colors” is a song that celebrates the majesty of nature.  It’s lyrics bring to life the objects and colors found in nature through simple things everywhere around us.  

The song and lesson plan teach and reinforce children in PreK – 1st. Grade: colors/words, opposites, imagination, recall, analytical thinking, matching, motor skills, matching, and dramatic play.

Wisdom Note: Write at least two objectives for each lesson plan.  Then write down the teaching method and learning tasks for each objective.

Parent-School Connection: Create a partnership with your child’s teacher and the school from the start of the school year.

Teacher Tips: Meaningful learning objectives are sequenced logically in the order in which they will be learned.
